Returns, Refunds & Warranty Replacement Policy

This page explains our no-refund policy, warranty coverage, and how to request a free replacement for defective products.

Last updated: June 22, 2026

1. Overview

At 800 Motor, we stand behind the quality of the products we sell. We do not offer cash refunds or payment reversals once a product has been purchased. Instead, eligible defective or faulty products are covered by our warranty and will be replaced free of charge within the applicable warranty period.

This policy explains how warranty replacements work and what conditions apply. Services (such as installation, repair, or detailing) are governed by separate cancellation terms outlined in our Terms & Conditions.

2. No Refund Policy

  • All product sales are final. We do not provide refunds, cashbacks, or payment reversals for change of mind, incorrect selection, or compatibility issues.
  • If you are unsure about fitment, specifications, or suitability, please contact us before completing your purchase.
  • In the event a product is defective or fails within the warranty period, we will provide a free replacement subject to the terms below.

3. Warranty Coverage

Many of the products we sell, including tyres and batteries, are covered by a manufacturer or supplier warranty. Warranty coverage may extend up to 24 months from the date of purchase or installation, depending on the product and brand.

  • Warranty periods vary by product, manufacturer, and brand. The applicable warranty period will be confirmed at the time of purchase or noted on your order documentation.
  • Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and proper installation.
  • Warranty claims must be made within the applicable warranty period and supported by proof of purchase.

4. Free Replacement Eligibility

  • The product must be defective due to a manufacturing fault or materials defect, not due to misuse, neglect, accident, or improper installation.
  • The defect must occur within the applicable warranty period, up to a maximum of 24 months where stated.
  • Products must be returned in reasonable condition for inspection. Photographic or physical evidence of the defect may be required.
  • Custom-ordered or specially sourced items are only eligible for replacement if they are defective.
  • You must provide proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt).

5. How to Request a Warranty Replacement

To request a free replacement under warranty, please contact our customer service team using the details on our Contact page. Provide your order number, the item(s) in question, and details of the defect.

  • Our team will review your request and confirm warranty eligibility within 1-2 business days.
  • If approved, we will arrange a free replacement and provide instructions for returning the defective item where required.
  • Please securely package the item to prevent damage during transit. We recommend using the original packaging where possible.

6. What Is Not Covered

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, improper installation, or unauthorised modification.
  • Normal wear and tear or gradual reduction in performance over time.
  • Products used for racing, off-road, commercial, or other purposes outside normal consumer use unless expressly covered.
  • Items returned without proof of purchase or outside the applicable warranty period.
  • Consumables, accessories, or gift cards and vouchers.

7. Replacement Process

  • Once we receive and inspect the defective item, we will confirm whether the warranty claim is approved.
  • Approved claims will be resolved with a free replacement of the same product or an equivalent alternative if the original is no longer available.
  • If a suitable replacement cannot be provided, we may offer store credit at our discretion.
  • Refunds will not be issued in place of a replacement.

8. Tyres and Batteries

  • Tyres must not be damaged due to road hazards, under-inflation, overloading, misalignment, or improper fitting.
  • Batteries must be correctly installed and used in the specified vehicle. Warranty does not cover damage caused by faulty vehicle charging systems, deep discharge, or neglect.
  • For some tyre brands, the manufacturer may handle the warranty claim directly; we will guide you through the process where applicable.

9. Cancellation of Service Bookings

For service appointments (tyre fitting, battery replacement, car repairs, detailing, etc.), cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund of any pre-paid deposit.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.
  • No-shows or cancellations after the technician has been dispatched may be charged in full.
