Car Battery Replacement by Car Brand

A battery service for any car does not mean every car is the same job. A Land Cruiser needs a heavy-duty battery, a BMW needs the new battery registered, a Range Rover has an auxiliary battery, and a BYD may use a lithium 12V. Find your brand to see what it needs, the battery each common model takes and the fitted price in Dubai.

Japanese cars

Mostly JIS batteries under the bonnet. Large heavy-duty sizes on Land Cruiser, Patrol and LX; hybrids add a separate 12V auxiliary battery.

Korean cars

Straightforward JIS fitting on most models, but Idle Stop and Go trims need EFB or AGM, and some hybrids use a lithium 12V with a reset button.

German cars

AGM batteries, often in the boot, and the new battery has to be registered or coded to the car with diagnostics.

British cars

Auxiliary batteries and a Battery Monitoring System that needs resetting; these cars drain quickly when parked for weeks.

American cars

Large batteries for V8 SUVs and pick-ups, AGM on newer trims, BMS resets on Ford and boot-mounted batteries on Charger and 300.

Chinese cars

Young fleets now replacing first batteries outside the dealer. Match EFB or AGM on start-stop trims; BYD uses LiFePO4 12V batteries on several models.

Other European cars

Start-stop systems that need EFB or AGM, support batteries on Volvo, and boot-mounted batteries on several Italian models.

Electric cars

A low-voltage battery runs the car’s electronics. It is a separate part from the high-voltage drive battery.
